Our students are the heart of this community.

The filing deadline has passed, and no one else filed to run for AUHSD’s Trustee Area 3 board seat. That means I’ll remain seated and continue serving our community on the AUHSD Governing Board.

More than 80 people across our AUHSD community endorsed my campaign. So many of you donated, volunteered, shared posts, opened doors for me, or simply told me you were behind me. I’m deeply grateful for the trust and support you’ve shown me.

Now I get to focus my energy on something incredibly important for our students and schools: passing the AUHSD parcel tax, Measure W, this November.

Our schools face a critical gap between the funding we receive and what it costs to maintain the educational excellence our community expects. Measure W will provide locally controlled funding for Acalanes, Campolindo, Las Lomas, Miramonte, and ACIS for the next eight years.

Passing Measure W will take a two-thirds vote. Over the coming months, I’ll be sharing more about what the measure funds, the safeguards and accountability built into it, and how our community can help.

Our work for students is far from over. Let’s keep at it, together.
